When you commission a Launch, Professional or Enterprise custom website build through Stacklane, your first month of Essential Care is included at no additional cost. This covers server hosting, uptime monitoring, security checks, and any minor updates or fixes needed in the period immediately following launch. Template websites are excluded: the £149.99 setup fee and first month of your selected care plan are payable upfront.

Our Launch, Professional and Enterprise packages are custom website builds. Our separate budget template range uses existing Stacklane designs, personalised with your content, logo and colours. We do not use AI website builders or generators to create your site. Where artificial intelligence comes into our process at all, it is rare, and limited to things like early design inspiration or brainstorming, never the actual coding or build, that work is done by real people who understand your trade. In the unlikely event we do use an AI tool at any stage, no customer data, project details, or private information is ever entered into it. Your data stays with us, and only us.

Timelines vary depending on the scope of the project. A standard trade business website typically takes 1 to 3 weeks from the beginning, to final launch. Larger or more complex builds may take longer. We provide a clear, agreed timeline before any work begins so you always know what to expect.

Every build package includes your first UK domain (.co.uk) free for 12 months, which we register and set up for you as part of the build. Even though we handle the technical side, the domain is registered as your property from day one, not ours. If you ever wanted to move it to another provider or manage it yourself, we would transfer it across for you in any circumstance, no questions asked. Most clients prefer to leave the whole thing with us though, since our Care Plans keep it renewed, secured, and pointed at your website without you ever having to think about it.

Our maintenance packages cover regular software updates, security patching, performance monitoring, uptime checks, and minor content or layout changes as needed. It is designed to keep your site fast, secure, and up to date while you are out on the tools, without you having to think about it.

For a Launch, Professional or Enterprise custom build, ownership of the code and design assets created specifically for your project transfers to you on full payment. Template websites work differently: Stacklane retains ownership of the template code and design, and you are licensed to use them for your business website. Templates may not be resold, redistributed or sublicensed. Your supplied content and logo remain yours.
